На основе фактического материала осуществить оценку состояния земельных угодий ранее (более 15 лет назад) осваиваемых под пашни и «заброшенных» к настоящему времени.</p></sec><sec><title>Материал и методы</title><p>Материал и методы. Контрольные площадки, расположенные в различных ландшафтных провинциях Волжско‐Окского междуречья, сравнивались по состоянию растительного покрова, а также типу зарастания.</p></sec><sec><title>Результаты</title><p>Результаты. В процессе исследования было установлено, что многие особенности постагрогенной трансформации пахотных земель анализируемой территории на начальных и промежуточных стадиях (доклимаксное состояние) определяются характером ее использования и прилегающими земельными угодьями. В результате определено три основных типа зарастания постагрогенных земель: зарастание, связанное со сменой землепользования, зарастание вблизи леса, зарастание вдали от леса.</p></sec><sec><title>Заключение</title><p>Заключение. Показано, что в результате зарастания сельскохозяйственных угодий резко снижается видовое разнообразие растительных сообществ, восстановление которого в обозримом будущем весьма проблематично. Хотя постагрогенные фитоценозы способны постепенно восстанавливать продукционный потенциал до уровня естественных фитоценозов, однако их продуктивность обеспечивается другим видовым составом травянистых растений при низком биоразнообразии.</p></sec></abstract><trans-abstract xml:lang="en"><sec><title>Aim</title><p>Aim. On the basis of factual material, an assessment was made of the state of land previously (more than 15 years ago) developed as arable land and "abandoned" to date.</p></sec><sec><title>Material and Methods</title><p>Material and Methods. Control plots located in different landscape provinces of the Volga‐Oka interfluve were compared in terms of the state of the vegetation cover, as well as the type of overgrowth.</p></sec><sec><title>Results</title><p>Results. Three types of overgrowing of postagrogenic lands characteristic of the initial and intermediate stages of overgrowing of pre‐climax communities have been identified: overgrowing of fields associated with a change in land use; overgrowing of fields with a nearby forest; and overgrowing of fields without a closely located forest.</p></sec><sec><title>Conclusion</title><p>Conclusion. It was shown that as a result of the overgrowing of agricultural lands, the species diversity of plant communities is sharply reduced, the restoration of which is very problematic in the foreseeable future.
